Saturday April 16th the weather forecast was 70% rain, but we had a beautiful day, with great views.
Most of the hikers has never been to Mt. Baldy. Hikers were from the Ramblers, and Outdoor Club of Victoria. It’s always great to see when hikers exchange emails after a hike as friendship were made.
Mt Baldy is famous for it’s swing, and our group enjoyed it also. The route I chose was steep, but coming up the ridge from the back you get great views.
8.4km and 495m elevation gain. It’s was a wonderful 3.5 hour hike, with wonderful people.
