What a beautiful day to hike up Mt Prevost for the Remembrance Day Service. I was happy to be able to lead this service, and it was so good to see so many people coming up.

Today I led hikers from three different groups on Mt. Prevost, some never having been there. Outdoor Club of Victoria, the Ramblers and Cowichan Hikers. 10 strong hikers. I even took them to a hidden waterfall, none had been there.
Good hiking weather, wind a little strong at times, but a beautiful day to enjoy the beauty around us, visit with friends, and learn all about what these awesome hikers are up too.

Well I don’t think I have ever led a hike on Mt Prevost where conditions and views were like today. The hike was offered through the Outdoor club of Victoria and the Ramblers. Only one from each club came.

A day up Mt. Prevost to see how the Glacier lilies were doing didn’t disappoint. (Well, there was some disappointment, which I will explain further down this report).

July 19th, another warm day to slog up Mt Prevost (Swuq’us).
There were seven of us between the Ramblers and OCV. At 9:00 am I left even though we were missing one but like I always say, 5 minutes early is on time, on time is late, and late is not acceptable.

Our group of ten had a fantastic day on a leisurely trip up Mount Prevost. It was the kind of day that brought all the weathers: pouring rain on the drive in, cloudy on the way up, sunny upon reaching the summit but snowy as we departed, sunny back at the car, and then pouring rain on the drive out.
