Memberships purchased today are valid until December 31, 2025

Memberships purchased on or after September 1, 2024, are valid until December 31, 2025

Annual Membership Types:

Individual $38: 
Select if the IMR is your primary or only Federation of Mountain Clubs club you belong to.
Family $65:
Choose this if you are a family joining the club.
FMCBC Associate $16:
If you are a member of a hiking club that is already a member of the FMCBC, such as the Comox District Mountaineering Club (CDMC), this option is for you. Please note that the ACCVI is not an associate club.
Student $22
Students have a special rate– we acknowledge the burden of tuition and books!

New and Returning Members

  1. Complete the online membership form
  2. Payment of dues can be made using Paypal, or by e-transfer
  3. Complete the annual electronic waiver
  4. Create a Meetup.com account that uses the first and last name.
  5. Join the club’s private members-only Meetup Group.

To pay by E-transfer (not preferred)

Note this will delay access to the club Meetup. To pay your dues via e-transfer, send the transfer to the treasurer(at)islandmountainramblers.com. You’ll need to change the  (at) to an @ symbol. Use this form if you’re paying by e-transfer.

All funds support the club’s growth and maintenance, covering membership incentives, equipment, education rebates, outdoor advocacy initiatives, leader insurance, and membership in the Federation of Mountain Clubs of British Columbia (FMCBC).

Current FMCBC portions $8 FMCBC membership, $14 FMCBC insurance
