The group of five met in Pipers Lagoon at 6 PM. We had warm breezes and the surrounding cloud provided an excellent backdrop for the evening’s workshop, and ideal conditions for the workshop.
the four initiates learned knot tying, how to use their ATC and the skills needed to safely rappel. By the end of the course, the four participants had successfully rappeled the 20-metre cliff-face multiple times.
The next step for these students is to sign up for a course like Island Alpine Guides’ Mountain Improv!
