Saturday Feb 26th was another wonderful day out for a hike. Rain was forecasted but we were very lucky and prepared. I had 8 people join in on my Mt Richard grand tour 15km 732m elevation. We stopped by Crofton Lake and Breen Lake and got to lots of view points, and to the summit of Mt Richards, where we had lunch.
We returned by the lower Sawden Trail along the creek, thanks to whoever cut a few big trees off the trail. We call that trail the Spooky trail, as it is very dark in places. A great site in there is the woodpecker tree and what they have done to it.
Everyone loved the hike, the pace was great with everyone having a good fitness level. I enjoyed meeting new people and hiking with people I gotten to know. A wonderful day.
